NCERT Textbooks Now Available on Amazon for Easy Access

NCERT textbooks for students from Kindergarten through Class 12, as well as those preparing for the UPSC, will now be available on Amazon India through authorized sellers. This announcement was made by Amazon India on Monday, highlighting its collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) to make these textbooks accessible at their maximum retail price (MRP) across all serviceable pin codes in the country.

In addition to catering to individual customers, Amazon will also handle bulk orders for government agencies and educational institutions in partnership with NCERT. To facilitate efficient deliveries, NCERT has appointed specific distribution vendors who will collaborate with sellers on the Amazon platform.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed that this partnership is a significant move towards providing students and educators with access to genuine and affordable resources, ultimately aiding their academic pursuits and improving their overall quality of life.
